Systems Engineer

As a result of a number of key partnerships, we are currently collaborating with innovative organisations working with cutting edge technologies, driving the development of Military Systems for the Defence industry.

We are seeking applications from Systems Engineers who would be interested in full time or contract roles supporting of Defence projects in Canberra.

If you have a proven understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle within a Defence environment and are looking for your next challenge, then now is the time to reach out.

Engineers with a background in Safety, V&V, Project engineer and Systems are encouraged to apply.

Potential Tasks:

• Provide specialist advice and guidance on the delivery of engineering tasks
• Design and develop military systems and equipment including testing, integration, installing and managing the systems and equipment
• Derive system requirements, define the test requirements and participate in system design and system requirements reviews
• Undertake functional analysis to identify the optimum solution against a set of requirements and develop system specifications
• Perform the integration and validation of complex system designs
• Ensure all documents and artefacts generated are in accordance with appropriate standard procedures and work instructions

Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor of engineering or relevant tertiary qualifications
• Firm knowledge of product development
• Experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle
• Strong communications skills both written and oral
• A high level of self-motivation, time management and organisational ability
• Australian Citizenship essential; current or reinstatable clearance required
